KN-650 Inclined conveyor

The KN-650 Inclined conveyor is made only with a curved horizontal top (gooseneck as farmers call it) and is used for loading the produce into and loading it out of the storage, as well as for loading it into vehicles and containers.

Principle of operation

The produce is loaded into the rubber-coated receiving port and is transported along the chevron belt (BARBIERI (Italy) for loading into vehicles, containers, etc.
The conveying speed and chute-shaped frame stricture allow throughput rate up to 50 t/h to be achieved.

The boom is lifted by a manual hydraulic pump.
The inclined conveyor is able to rotate up to 120 degrees by a revolving frame allowing the unloading point to be changed without moving the main frame.

The boom is lifted by a powerful hydraulic cylinder operating with a special frame (frog type) with two support points designed by the Plant's Technical Department, thereby providing reliable operation even on uneven surfaces.

The KN-650 Inclined conveyor is equipped with scrapers that prevent dirt ingress under the belt.

A plate driving and driven drum engineered by the plant's designers is made in the form of a barrel, thereby preventing the belt from slipping off and increasing its service life.

Each conveyor is equipped with a separate control cabinet accommodating:

• differential circuit breaker for short-circuit current protection and current leakage prevention (Schneider Electric (France);
• Danfos frequency converter designated to protect the motor against overloads and is equipped with the function of infinitely variable speed control of each conveyor.

The conveyors are fitted with reinforced Tente wheels and R13 car wheels for cushioned movement.

A two-component polyurethane paint coating (Tikkurila (Finland)) is applied at the plant.
